• Visitor ID (smp_vid) — A random identifier stored for up to 2 years. It contains no personal information and is used solely to maintain consistency during your visit (e.g., experiment assignment).
• Experiment Assignment (smp_exp) — Stores which version of a page you've been assigned in A/B tests. Expires after 30 days.
• Authentication — If you log in to the hiring platform, standard session cookies are used to keep you signed in.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on page, general geographic region). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized data. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.

4. Hiring Platform Data

If you are invited by an employer to take an assessment as a job candidate, your responses and scores are shared with that employer. The employer is the data controller for candidate assessment data collected through their account. All candidate data is stored with row-level security in our database, meaning each employer can only access data for their own candidates.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

• Vercel — Website hosting and edge infrastructure
• Supabase — Database and authentication
• Stripe — Payment processing for the hiring platform
• OpenAI — Generating narrative personality reports from validated scores
• Google Analytics — Website analytics

Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.

6. Data Retention

• Anonymous test responses are retained indefinitely for research and service improvement.
• Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
• Email addresses provided for reports are retained until you unsubscribe.
